Because what better way to relive the day than with moving images? Choose for a combination of photo + video and receive a wedding video in 4K quality of 5-7 minutes.

Choose the additional option "Second Shooter" and go for maximum results! In March 2024 we got to travel to beautiful Finnish Lapland for the wedding of Thijs & Romira. The beautiful landscape and perfect weather made for a fairytale wedding. Despite temperatures of around -25 degrees Celcius we were able to do an extra photo shoot with the couple during the wedding party with the Northern Lights. It were 5 very beautiful days in a unique place to celebrate your wedding!
Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been a wedding photographer/videographer?
The first wedding I captured was my sister's in 2009. I enjoyed this so much that I decided I wanted to make this my work and so my second wedding followed shortly after. In the period that followed, I continued my studies at the FotoAcademie to further develop myself as a photographer and also filmed my first wedding in 2014. After years of multiple jobs combined with capturing weddings, I have now been a fully independent wedding photographer for several years and am doing the work I dreamed of in 2009.
Do you also record weddings abroad?
Sure! I have captured several weddings in countries like Italy, Germany, France or Finland, but no country is too crazy. For weddings abroad I make a custom quote as the total cost depends on several factors. This way you know exactly where you stand and we capture your wedding in the best possible way.
How does the photo+video package work? Do you do this alone or together?
With the photo+video packages, I will basically come by myself to capture your wedding. I came up with the combination of photo+video about 8 years ago by using multiple cameras and quickly switching between the two disciplines. In this way I have now captured over a hundred weddings and can offer an affordable package that allows you to receive both a full photo shoot and a wedding video. Since a number of years I also offer the additional option to choose a second shooter. Together, we create even more footage which provides not only a larger photo reportage, but also more flexibility in making the video.
Is it necessary to take a second shooter?
A second shooter is not a must, but definitely recommended! When you choose this option, the photo shoot will be at least 1.5 times larger and moments will be captured from different angles. When you choose the photo + video package, there is also more flexibility to use extras such as aerial images with a drone or audio recordings of speeches.
Are you working with a regular second shooter?
Ja, ik werk vaak met een vaste second shooter, mijn vrouw Karlijn. Zij heeft awards gewonnen met haar prachtige bruidsfotografie en na vele bruiloften samen te hebben vastgelegd, zijn wij perfect op elkaar ingespeeld. We weten precies hoe we jullie bruiloft zo mooi mogelijk kunnen documenteren.
Naast Karlijn heb ik echter ook een team van ervaren second shooters waarmee ik samenwerk. Mocht Karlijn niet beschikbaar zijn op jullie trouwdatum, dan kan ik altijd rekenen op een van hen. Zo zorgen we er altijd voor dat jullie huwelijk vanuit meerdere perspectieven wordt vastgelegd.
How long will you/stay at the wedding?
Het belangrijkste bij het foto+video en platinum pakket is dat wij proberen een compleet beeld van de dag vast te leggen. Dit betekent niet dat wij er letterlijk van begin tot eind bij hoeven te zijn. Vandaar dat ik/wij bij de Foto+Video pakketten en het Platinum pakket maximaal 12 uur aanwezig zijn. Zo beginnen wij vaak tijdens het einde van de voorbereidingen, zodat wij bijvoorbeeld nog de final touch van de visagie vast kunnen leggen, en blijven wij tot ergens gedurende het feest. De exacte eindtijd hangt af van het moment aangezien wij graag feestende beelden willen maken en het feest op de ene bruiloft wat sneller op gang komt dan de andere. Eindigen jullie de avond bijvoorbeeld met sterretjes of vuurwerk en willen jullie dit ook vastgelegd hebben? Dan kijken wij even samen naar de mogelijkheden en is het eventueel mogelijk extra uren bij te kopen.
How much travel expenses should I consider?
The travel costs are €0.35 per kilometer calculated from Utrecht. The travel expenses only apply on the day of the wedding itself. Any parking costs are charged separately. When there is chosen for the second shooter option we travel in most cases with one car and we keep the same times. This keeps the travel costs the same in this case.
Can I choose the music for our wedding video myself?
Ja dat kan zeker! Ik heb zelf een abonnement op een database vol met rechtenvrije muziek die ik mag gebruiken voor mijn werk. Maar als jullie zelf een bepaald nummer hebben die jullie graag willen gebruiken dan is dat zeker mogelijk. Houd er dan wel rekening mee dat de video officieel niet gebruikt mag worden op bijvoorbeeld social media of dat de website waarop je de video zet de muziek er af kan halen. Het is ook mogelijk om naast de video een extra social media edit voor €350 te nemen waarin de highlights van de dag voorbijkomen op rechtenvrije muziek. Zo kunnen jullie deze wel delen op social media! Bij het Platinum pakket zit deze extra trailer inbegrepen.

Samen met mijn vriendin en vaste second shooter Karlijn mocht ik op 28 september 2023 deze mooie bruiloft van Carla & Walter vastleggen. Nadat wij de dag waren gestart in Hilversum speelde de rest van de dag zich af op Buitenplaats Amerongen.

A city wedding in beautiful Rotterdam where love sparkled from this lovely couple. After an intimate ceremony at the city hall on the Coolsingel, the day ended festively at the Paleisje in Schiedam.

On this lovely summer day I got to capture the wedding of Liza and Roy together with my regular second shooter. A very nice and cozy couple from Leiden and what a fun day we had! After we started the morning in Leiden, the day was largely held in Wassenaar at the Oostdorperhoeve.
